The Academy, which opened in Warwick in 2009, offers free training modules to installers, giving them the opportunity to interact with products and systems from Geberit.
The piping systems training module introduces installers to the Geberit Mapress and Geberit Melpa press fitting systems, providing knowledge on a range of processes from cutting and deburring to blending and pressing.
Meanwhile, the sanitary systems training aims to instill candidates with the knowledge and confidence to fit systems such as the Geberit Duofix WC frame.
To teach candidates how to carry out complete installations of Geberit’s products, four working walls are being fitted into the Academy. A HDPE stack featuring a variety of connection types will also be installed to familiarise candidates with the process used to fit Geberit pipework.
The installers will also profit from a greater integration of the piping and sanitary elements on offer.
