UK Roofing Awards celebrates tenth anniversary

Hosted by BBC’s Louise Minchin and NFRC CEO Ray Horwood at the Hilton London Metropole, the ceremony recognised excellence in roofing, as well as individuals and organisations that go above and beyond the call of duty.

Lakesmere also won the Vertical Cladding/Rainscreen award for the National Graphene Institute, Manchester

To mark the tenth anniversary of the UK Roofing Awards, two companies received recognition of their roofing contributions throughout the 10 year period and were presented with an Outstanding Achievement in Roofing Award.

The awards went to Lakesmere and Karl Terry Roofing Contractors for demonstrating their diversity of skills in the industry, working at different ends of the roofing spectrum.

Other notable winners included: Norman & Underwood (Fully Supported Metal Roofing), Icopal (Liquid Roofing & Waterproofing), KGM Roofing (Roof Sheeting) and Organic Roofs (Sustainable Roofs).

In addition, the NFRC Health & Safety Champion award went to Pauline Davies of DVC Roofing and Building Ltd, whilst the Exceptional Contribution to Training award went to Carol Atherton of Avonside Roofing.
