Complying with ESOS breakfast forum taking place in Stoke

Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme mandatory for organisations

The government announced its plans for ESOS earlier this year, which is mandatory for organisations across the UK that meet the qualification criteria.

The forum will provide information on the details of the scheme, with presentations given by Jo Scully, ESOS Project Manager at the Environment Agency, Michael McGowan, Quality, Environmental and Energy Manager at Ibstock Brick Ltd, and Stuart Jackson, Director at Stuart Jackson Associates Limited.

The forum will take place from 8:00 to 11:30am and includes a buffet breakfast, presentations, Q&A session and networking opportunities.

Topics will include:

  • Meeting the scheme requirements – registration, notification, deadlines, helpdesk, and the ESOS lead assessors register
  • Compliance route – ISO 50001 certification
  • Compliance route – ESOS energy audit
  • Identification and prioritisation of energy reduction measures

The event will feature seminars on the following subjects:
