UKAS Accreditation for Frost Resistance Testing for Lucideon

  • 3 Nov 2014

The company can now test clay roofing tiles for frost resistance

Testing will be carried out on a recently installed frost resistance test rig that has been specifically designed and built to meet the test method requirements of BS EN 539-2: 2013.

Lucideon will also retain the previous test standard (BS EN 539-2:2006) for frost resistance to enable new tiles to be compared with historic data.

Lucideon is the only UKAS accredited laboratory testing clay roofing tiles for frost resistance in the UK.

The company offers comprehensive testing, analysis and support for customers on cross industry materials and management systems.
