New discreet data loggers for monitoring temperature

  • 18 Mar 2015

Gemini Data Loggers has launched a revised edition of its popular Transit 2 temperature data logger

The new logger has been designed with a slim line body and a subtle grey case, which acts as a discreet alternative to Tinytags’ existing yellow shell.

The Transit 2’s unobtrusive design makes it suitable for a variety of applications, such as in schools, galleries, offices and workplaces.

It can also be used to measure temperatures during transportation, such as in delivery trucks or vans carrying frozen or chilled foodstuffs.

In addition to this, the Transit 2 data loggers can be used in energy efficiency applications.

For instance, they can monitor the performance of HVAC systems and the efficiency of equipment and products such as boilers and insulation.

They can also be used to assess the before and after performances of lighting and heating systems.

Data analysis and management

The data logger has a built-in sensor which can monitor and measure temperatures from -40 to 70°C.

The recorded data can be uploaded to a PC where it is presented in graphs and tables in the Tinytag Explorer Software.

The information can be exported to other software packages and separate logging runs can be compared and combined for analysis.
