Monitoring temperature conditions with Tinytag data loggers

  • 24 Jun 2015

Offering a range of apprenticeships and full and part-time courses, Cambridge Regional College is a large Further Education facility in Cambridgeshire.

With its site consisting of several modern purpose-built learning areas, the college is using six Tinytag Talk 2 data loggers to record temperatures in specific places.

A series of Tinytag Talk 2 data loggers have been installed in Cambridge Regional College

Recording temperature and analysing data

Recording temperature across the site helps to identify patterns; it also helps to maintain the appropriate environmental conditions for the facility.

The Tinytags’ recorded data is monitored and analysed regularly.

This allows for queries to be dealt with and informed decision to be made about any possible issues promptly.

The college’s Operations Manager, Mark Neville, is impressed with the Tinytags: “They are easy to configure and the Tinytag Explorer software enables the data to be presented in graph form, so direct comparisons can be made.”

The Tinytags are small, ensuring that they can be located discreetly; the data can also be easily retrieved.
