The grand Gotham Hotel was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, a celebrated Victorian architect. It has recently undergone a multi-million pound renovation to accommodate 60 bedrooms and four luxury suites.
Two of C-TEC’s four-loop ZFP addressable fire panels have been fitted to protect the rooms.
Available with a graphical interface solution, C-TEC’s touch-screen controlled fire panels allow users to view critical events, process alarms and keep secure system logs on a remote PC.
The first of the panels supplied to the hotel is located in the basement, whilst the other is situated in the permanently manned Manager’s office.
Its location has been carefully chosen to ensure that the hotel’s staff are immediately notified if an incident should occur.
A ZFP compact controller, which displays the status of the fire alarm system, has also been installed in the establishment’s reception area.
A CCTV security system, access control system and one of C-TEC’s SigTEL disabled refuge systems have also been fitted.
C-TEC’s ZFP panels have been designed as flexible solutions; they can be configured to suit any application, from small systems to large multi-loop networked systems, such as Gotham Hotel’s.
