Wilo announces lucky winner of photography competition

  • 24 Nov 2014

Adela Nistora won the prize with her shot of Jeppe Hein’s interactive fountain

With entries coming from everyone including plumbers and heating engineers to aspiring photographers, the best selection of pictures are available to view on Twitter, Facebook, on e-shots and in online and local exhibitions.

John Brook won second place with his shot of Ribblehead viaduct framed by a rainbow, whilst Marlon Cole walked away with third position after nominating his shot of Highland mountains being reflected in a silent lake.

Winner of the competition, Adela, commented:  “It’s my favourite place in the city. There are no rules, walls of water appear and disappear, you get wet or avoid getting wet.”

Adela wins £1000 worth of photographic vouchers to spend on camera equipment and her artwork will be featured in Wilo’s 2015 ‘loves water’ calendar, a limited edition publication produced for major customers, contracts and senior management across the Group which is based in Dortmund, Germany.

Wilo received over 500 entries during the competition, which was launched in 2013 in order to select the best photographers in the country and incorporate their work into a company calendar.
