New heat recovery unit provides energy efficient solution

  • 16 Jul 2015

For all new energy efficient builds, heat recovery units play an important part.

Vortice intends to release more heat recovery systems later on in the year

Bearing this in mind, Vortice has developed the Vort HR350 Avel for installation in homes with up to seven wet rooms.

Its launch brings another SAP Appendix Q eligible MVHR unit to the Vortice family of energy efficient ventilation heat recovery products, adding to the Vort Prometeo HR400 and the Vort HR200 Evo.

HR350 Avel heat recovery unit

The new heat recovery unit maintains healthy indoor air quality by using a 100% fully filtered summer bypass with optional timed manual activation.

With a low decibel rating, the HR350 Avel operates quietly within the home; it also boasts a removable hinged access door, which allows for easy installation and maintenance.

The unit is operated by a wired LCD electronic controller, which displays its status. It also offers integrated protection against frost.

G3 filters are included as standard, but optional F5 filters are available.

Suitable for vertical mounting, the unit has been designed at the ideal size for installation in a larger family home.
