The sliding door offers protection against flame and heat
The Jansol EI30 sliding fire door is designed to offer a high level of protection against flame and heat under extreme loads due to its slender frame profiles, and is engineered to allow an inward or outward direction of escape depending upon location.
With design options including a choice of drive-motors and glass types, the door is ideal for use in barrier free buildings that require tight security measures to be in place and easy access, such as shopping centres, offices and stadiums.
The EI30 door is available in a single-leaf or a double-leaf configuration and can be supplied with or without a side and top lights or an emergency exit function that complies with EN 1125 or EN 179, whilst the complete system has been fully tested in accordance with EN 1634-1.
If specified for configuration as a single leaf construction, the Janisol 2 door offers an opening of 1400mm wide and 2500mm high, whilst with double leaves, the opening is 2800mm and 2500mm high.
A wide range of glazing has been approved for use with the Janisol 2 Fire Resistant Sliding Door, with companies such as Dorma, Golgen, Tormax and Record commissioned to supply approved actuator systems.
The multi functional steel profile system for fire and smoke protection can achieve a noise reduction of 42 dB and burglar resistance up to WK3.
