  • 25 Mar 2015

Schüeco’s new guide provides an overview of the BREEAM scoring system and the products which are best suited to BREEAM projects

It is becoming imperative for new buildings to be sustainable in their design, construction and throughout their life cycles.

BREEAM is currently the most used standard for best practice in sustainable design with 200,000 buildings certified to it.

An additional 700,000 buildings are also registered.

The Schüeco Guide to BREEAM

To help architects select aluminium façades, windows and doors that are best suited for use in BREEAM projects, Schüeco has produced a new Guide.

The Guide features information on BREEAM and the scoring system, whilst also explaining how the use of Schüeco’s products can help buildings score BREEAM points in different areas.

BREEAM credits can be scored in categories such as Management, Health and Wellbeing, Energy, Materials and Waste.

Schüeco also offers specific project-related information, providing data for energy use and water consumption for the products being manufactured.
