After being fitted in Harris and Hoole’s Slough branch, Polyflor’s Expona range of vinyl flooring tiles has been specified for coffee shops in Chichester, Southend and Colchester
185 square metres of Expona Design vinyl flooring was laid in the coffee shop’s dining areas by Redlay Flooring.
The design was comprised of tiles in Light Elm 6182, which have a wood effect and Creme Matrix 8077 and Mocca Matrix 8076, which both have a textile effect.
An additional 25 square metres of flooring was installed back of house. Expona Control in Light Elm 6506 was used to fit a safety floor suitable for the coffee shop’s staff to work on.
The Expona Control tiles are manufactured with aluminium oxide particles to provide slip resistance in commercial areas where there may be spillages. This appealed to Harris and Hoole as a coffee shop.
28 design options are available in Polyflor’s Expona collection of vinyl flooring tiles. The tiles are designed with a 3.0mm gauge and 0.7mm wear layer to ensure that they can withstand high traffic in commercial environments.
The tiles are also fortified with Polyflor’s polyurethane reinforcement, which makes them easy to clean.
Polyflor’s Expona vinyl flooring is also completely recyclable. Samples from the range can be ordered from Polyflor’s website.
