The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association breeds and trains dogs for the visually impaired
450 square metres of the sheet vinyl safety flooring has been specified for installation in the training area.
It was supplied in the shade Blue Lagoon 5206 and fitted to the canteen areas, stairways and front of house corridors of the facility.
As a registered charity, the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association breeds and trains guide dogs for the visually impaired.
It is located in Woodford Green, Essex.
The Verona range has been developed with slip resistance particles that are virtually invisible.
This ensures that it provides the performance of a safety floor whilst resembling high clarity vinyl flooring.
The range meets the UK Slip Group Guidelines for slip resistance, whilst also adhering to the European Standard for safety flooring and meeting HSE.
Polyflor’s Polysafe Verona PUR vinyl safety flooring has been fitted in the shade Blue Lagoon 5206
Having achieved 36 on the Pendulum wet test, the flooring has a surface roughness of 20 microns and above.
It also meets the 50,000 cycles abrasion test, showing that its particles will be able to provide long-term, continued friction.
Polyflor’s Verona safety flooring is reinforced with Polysafe PUR polyurethane, which allows for a simple cleaning routine.
It contains recycled material, making it re-usable via the Recofloor scheme.
