Designed for retail and commercial environments, the SimpLay vinyl floor tiles and planks have been developed for loose lay installation without the use of adhesive with an aim to reduce installation time to a minimum.
The Rich Walnut 2504 shade was chosen for this Vodafone store to compliment the brand’s signature white and red colour scheme.
AFB Flooring Solutions of Lancashire installed the SimpLay tiles for retail and commericial fit out specialists Audas Project Management, who are refurbishing a number of Vodafone stores across the UK.
Polyflor’s Simplay flooring looks impressive and has the added benefit of being very quick to install, commented Audas Project Manager Martin Rowe.
This helped us meet our deadline to handover this project on schedule so this busy Birmingham city centre store could reopen. We’re always working to demanding time scales so products like this that help us work more efficiently are invaluable to us.
Polyflor’s range of loose lay tiles feature eight wood plank designs, six natural stone tile effects and two weave pattern tiles.
With a 5mm gauge and 0.7mm wear layer, SimpLay loose lay tiles include a non-skid honeycomb backing layer to ensure that the tiles stay in position and enhance dimensional stability with a glass fibre reinforcement layer.
The tiles are designed to provide quick installation over various types of floorcovering, allowing individual SimpLay tiles to be easily replaced, relocated and reused.
SimpLay flooring contains recycled content and the Recofloor vinyl take back scheme ensures it is 100% recyclable.
Polyflor is a major manufacturer of commercial floorcovering solutions based near Manchester.
