Seven designs from the Expona Flow range were selected to create the bespoke floor in the centre’s Little Sparkles Nursery.
The Expona Flow range features 50 heavy commercial sheet vinyl flooring designs, measuring in a 2 metre wide sheet format with a 2mm gauge and a 0.7mm wear layer.
The flooring product is UK manufactured and enhanced with Polyflor PUR, Polyflor’s polyurethane reinforcement which is cross linked and UV cured to provide superior cleaning benefits.
It also achieves a BRE A rating for major use areas in the education sector and is 100% recyclable via the Recofloor vinyl take back scheme.
Grey Luna and Storm colours were chosen for the base and border of the design floor, whilst the circular designs with striped, spotted and swirl patterns inside were created using the brighter Burnt Orange, Flaxen, Steel Blue, Meadow and Plum shades.
Quwwat Education Centre worked with Polyflor’s in-house design service to create the custom floor design using water jet cutting technology.
The designs used in the nursery corridor are from the Cosmos collection of solid colour, smooth floor coverings within the Expona Flow range.
The designs feature subtle highlights created by pearlescent fragments, to give the floor added depth and movement that changes with the light in the room.
Polyflor’s Camaro luxury vinyl tiles in White Limed Oak were also installed inside the nursery playroom.
In addition to offering years of durability and performance in residential properties, the Camaro collection has been designed for use in light commercial applications such as nurseries, small offices and boutiques.
