Sustainability report reveals economic progress

Within its latest sustainability report, Knauf Insulation reveals how its recent ventures and products have helped the environment

In the report, it is announced that Knauf Insulation has reduced its energy usage by 14%.

The report also reveals that the company has cut its CO2 emissions by 12% and achieved zero waste to landfill for all of its UK manufacturing plants in 2013.

The report describes Knauf Insulation’s economic accomplishments and features the products that have helped it achieve its sustainability results.

The information is presented in the form of interviews and case studies.

For instance, a case study on Knauf Insulation’s Urbanscape solution, which has been specified globally from Europe to the Middle East, has been included.

The report also incorporates news from the company’s four UK plants and information on what it aims to do in support of our communities.

An interview with one of the United Nation’s climate change professors has also been included to demonstrate why we need to use less energy.

The report also talks to installers and homeowners to examine how renovation can change lives as well as save energy and money.

As suggested by the report, Knauf Insulation is on track to achieving its 2020 sustainability goals.
