Weekly power cuts and frequent bad weather was the cause of regular damp problems and damage in the basement of the house, with a previous waterproofing system being inadequately installed and leaving the property unable to cope with the high volumes of water during the power outage.
The Victron Quattro Inverter was specified in order to provide pumping during electricity disruption, working to invert 12V DC power from a battery to clean and produce 230V of power, whilst the self-start Generator System provides unlimited power to ensure that the basement stays dry.
The Quattro unit can be installed alongside a generator that recharges the batteries once they reach a predetermined state of depletion to provide a high level of protection against power outage.
