Newton help with waterproofing projects in Australia

In December 2014, Australia’s Bayset Specialist Trade Supplies, which supply waterproofing materials, received a visit from Newton’s Technical and Training Manager, Stuart Tansey.

Stuart spent his visit helping Bayset promote Cavity Drain Membranes as a solution for below ground waterproofing.

He supported the company in specification work for two residential projects in Melbourne, providing the architects, who required water tight basements for each project, with waterproofing solutions.

He was also involved in a meeting with the Department of Environment and Heritage Protection, who needed to damp proof a heritage listed project in Warwick and were thinking about using Newton’s Cavity Drain Membranes for the job.

Stuart spent one day of his week in Australia providing a product and installation training day for contractors Wetlock Waterproofing. He was able to demonstrate the installation methods necessary to install the Newton Cavity Drain system.
