As part of their partnership, Jewson provides Hyndburn Homes with a product range that has been designed to meet its maintenance needs.
The company supplies building materials, such as timber, as well as gas appliances to help with the gas servicing that Hyndburn Homes carries out.
Jewson also provide the association with bathroom suites, general hardware and electrical and plumbing products.
In support of Hyndburn Homes, the company helps with service requests and planned maintenance cycles.
It has also helped the community served by Hyndburn Homes by creating an apprenticeship scheme.
The scheme allows two residents from the area to gain work experience, creating future training and employment opportunities.
Jewson has also donated the materials needed to renovate an unused plot of land into a community garden and allotment space.
Huncoat Community Garden gives residents the opportunity to plant and grow their own fruit and vegetables.
Jewson aims to continue supporting the social housing association throughout 2015 and for the foreseeable future.
