Emperor cable cleats for installation on Petrobras vessel in Brazil

In production – Petrobras’ new P-66 FPSO vessel, which will be fitted with Ellis’ Emperor cable cleats

Campo Grande-based Prática Engenharia Ltda selected Emperor cable cleats for installation on Petrobras’ new P-66 FPSO (floating production storage offloading) vessel which is being built in Brazil for use in the development of pre-salt projects in the Santos basin.

  • Specification for the FPSO,n, was secured by Ellis’ Brazilian distributor, Macaé-based Polar Componentes e Sistemas Offshore.

The P-66 FPSO is the first of eight vessels being built by the company. When complete it will have a processing capacity of 150,000 barrels per day of oil and six million cubic metres per day of natural gas.
