Delegates will be advised on construction techniques including solid wood, cross laminated timber; acceptance by insurers and warranty providers; the range of timber frame building that can be constructed; and maintenance issues and costs for achieving a quality build.
Dates for the timber frame seminars are as follows:
25th November The Wesley, London
4th December Holiday Inn Express, Birmingham
25th February Aztec Hotel & Spa, Bristol
24th March Thistle Hotel, Manchester
The Wood for Good campaign promotes the timber industry in the UK and promotes the suitability and sustainability of wood as a building material to the construction and logistics sectors, as well as professionals such as architects and design engineers.
