BM TRADA offering testing & installation advice at Homes 2014

Based at stand H29, the BM TRADA team will provide in-depth information for anyone with asset and facilities management responsibility or involved in the repair and refurbishment of housing in the public and private sectors.

With advice on specifying third party certified products and service providers, BM TRADA will be on hand to answer queries on its range of products, installation and maintenance certification schemes.

A full scale demonstration will take place on a fire door that has been exposed to a fire resistance test; an enhanced security window which has been subjected to a PAS 24: 2012 security test; a model of a timber frame building; and samples of timbers which display some of the common problems found in existing properties.

Fully accredited by UKAS to offer testing, inspection and certification services on fire, security and timber products, BM TRADA is an accepted certification and testing body for Secured by Design.
