The Eurocode 5 Connections workshop on December 3rd will include:
Designed to build on knowledge gained from the Introductory Workshop, the content includes details dowel type fasteners, an introduction to Johansen theory, embedment strength, yield moment, axial effects and the rope effect, as well as the calculation of lateral load capacities.
Dr Keerthi Ranasinghe from BM TRADA: Connections pose a unique challenge for designers and probably constitute one of the most detailed yet frequently misunderstood aspects of EC5. And Eurocode 5 offers the designer more potential than they might realise, as our introductory workshop will illustrate.
The workshop will use practical worked examples to bring clarity and facilitate a better understanding of the intricacies of EC5.
Printed worked examples, which will provide valuable future references, are included in the delegate fee.
The Eurocode 5 Connections Workshop costs £130 + VAT for TRADA members and £179 + VAT for non-members.
