Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre – commonly known as the NEC – has played host to thousands of events over the past 40 years.
Johnstone’s Steel andamp; Cladding Semi-Gloss Topcoat has been used to provide anti-corrosive protection for the NEC’s main entrance
It has become a landmark of Birmingham, attracting millions of visitors to over 500 events a year.
When tasked with repainting the exterior metalwork of the Centre, Modmill Decorators specified Johnstone’s Steel andamp; Cladding Semi-Gloss Topcoat for application.
The team utilised high pressure jet washers to strip back the existing paintwork before applying the product.
As part of Johnstone’s Performance Coatings Metal Defence System range, the paint has been created to provide anti-corrosive protection for metal and profile claddings.
Offering longevity and UV resistance, the paint can be tinted in over 16,000 colours to cater to a wide range of design possibilities.
