Marpak Extrusions has announced the expansion of its manufacturing capabilities with the addition of a new co-extruder.
In addition to increasing Marpak’s capacity by becoming the company’s ninth extrusion line, it will facilitate the production of three-layer custom blended, blown film specifically for the stretch hood market.
The product has been developed for the packaging of heavy loads that require additional security during storage and transportation.
Co-extruded film optimises a range of properties and is particularly desirable for clients in the construction industry, as it is a popular choice for cement, brick and timber manufactures.

Talos are agents for Lachenmeier in the UK and provide end-of-line packaging machinery to clients from a variety of industries, with an emphasis on shrink and stretch hooding equipment utilising the Group’s blown film expertise.
