Boiler Systems from Alpha fitted at new housing development

  • 26 Nov 2013

Moody Homes employed Alpha to ensure that the properties met the Level 3 Code for Sustainable Homes, a requirement ensuring that the carbon emissions of all new build properties are reduced during construction.

Heating systems featured in the installation project included Alpha’s InTec 24X boilers for one-bedroom apartments, complete with an LCD control panel to provide information.

The company’s new solar thermal units, SolarSmart 100 were used alongside the InTec 30C for the three bedroom apartments to deal with increased hot water consumption whilst keeping down the gas bills.

Finally the FlowSmart system was fitted at the new townhouse plots to allow for heavy water demand without major impact on the flow rate.
