Easy Heat underfloor heating system gives new homes an extra buyer appeal
REHAU’s PE-Xa underfloor heating pipe was installed within a poured screed but on the first floor, where traditionally radiators would have been fitted in this type of new build.
REHAU Easy Panel system
Comprises a standard 2400 x 600mm proprietary grooved 22mm grade P5 tongue and grooved particle board with a system specific surface laminate to accommodate REHAU’s 12mm RAUTHERM universal pipe.
About the Guildford new home installation
REHAU installer Nick Vann of RTFM Services fitted the underfloor heating and he commented how fitter friendly’ the new system was to install..
Throughout the property, the underfloor heating system is being controlled using REHAU’s Easy Control. Used in conjunction with a simple and familiar wall thermostat and a remote
sensor, this automatically regulates the flow of water into the floor heating system.
Rob Ewels, Business Team Manager for REHAU’s underfloor heating division: REHAU Easy Heat combines all the benefits of underfloor heating in terms of increased space and flexibility of design with all of the comfort and controllability of a radiator based system.
It is aimed squarely at the new build residential market and, as has been demonstrated here, it appeals equally to the developer, the installer and the homeowner.
