Based in Denmark, the company produces roof and façade paints, which have been commended for their properties. Its ClimateCooler Catalyst has been labelled as a top 100 sustainable product, whilst its Silicone Façade paint has been used on the Kremlin and the White House on Capitol Hill.
The ISO Paint product range makes use of Nano technology to offer energy savings.
When applied, the paint can keep roof spaces cool and insulate properties, whilst protecting them from adverse weather conditions.
ClimateCooler Catalyst, for example, reflects around 80% of the sun’s rays, decreasing surface temperature by 30%. Its catalyses work to break down nitrogen oxides, assisted by humidity and UV light.
After applying the paint, Copenhagen’s Clarion Hotel achieved a reduction in their annual energy bill by 10%. This equates to a saving of 27 tonnes of CO2 a year.
The company’s HydroBlock paint is predicted to perform well in the UK, as it is suited to wet climates.
The paint has been designed to waterproof walls, whilst still allowing them to breathe. This can reduce the damage to brick and stone façades which is often caused by water penetration and frost.
