Lucideon to bring experts together to discuss industry issues

  • 21 Oct 2015

Lucideon has announced that it will host a free construction forum, bringing together experts from the industry to discuss the latest industry challenges and opportunities.

‘New Construction Products and the Ways to Market’ will take place on Friday 6th November at Lucideon’s Stoke-on-Trent headquarters.

The forum will see experts from the BBA, BSI, NHBC, LABC and Lucideon debate on number of key issues surrounding the industry.

Topics will include: how the sector can meet demands, including new housing; government sustainability targets; reducing construction costs; and developing new and innovative products and processes.

Steve Newman, Senior Product Manager at Lucideon, commented that the construction industry is currently facing pressures to meet ambitious targets across the board, and that the forum will showcase solutions being developed to help meet these demands.

He continued: “The forum will give the opportunity to hear first-hand from some of the industry’s leading authorities about the opportunities available to the construction industry and ways for new products to be developed and taken to market to meet future needs.”

Lucideon provides testing and consultative services to a wide range of companies within the construction sector.

Its experts, many of which will be in attendance at the event, sit on a number of regulatory bodies and play a crucial part in developing and maintaining standards for the industry.
