NVELOPE has announced the launch of Building Information Modelling (BIM) objects for its range of cladding support systems, to offer an improvement in specification detail to architects.
BIM is a useful tool for architects and specifiers who are in the planning and design stages of their project. It can be used to generate digital drawings of buildings, whilst providing detailed technical information, accreditations and background data.
NVELOPE’s NV1, NV2, NV3, NV4, NV5, NV6 and NV7 cladding support systems are now available in BIM format.
The objects contain dimensions and product specifications, as well as 3D images which can be added into virtual models and simulated building designs.
Available in IFC and Revit formats, they can be found on the NBS National BIM Library and integrated into any BIM software.
NVELOPE also offers an online Project Builder design and pricing service, which provides project specific cladding solutions for architects.
