CMS Window Systems hopes to satisfy the needs of the housing and building sectors by showcasing its sustainable building solutions at Scotland Build 2015
At the event, CMS Window Systems will discuss the eradication of fuel poverty in Scottish homes and the importance of smart building envelope design in the BIM era.
The company will be exhibiting its aluminium, PVCu and timber aluminium composite windows, which can be used in conjunction with its external wall insulation, cladding solutions and doors and curtain walling to create sustainable envelope solutions.
By encouraging the industry to take advantage of the thermal insulation products available on the market, CMS hopes to help its clients choose the most sustainable building solutions for their projects.
At the event, the company will also explain how main contractors and architects can benefit from its decision to invest over £50,000 in becoming BIM-ready.
It believes that BIM will provide a vital link between project architects and product manufacturers in the smart-building era of today.
CMS’ way of operating enables it to provide a 360 degree home and building energy improvement programme for clients. This incorporates an in-house recycling process to ensure that all frames, hardware and glass from windows in replacement projects are extracted and re-used, avoiding sending them to landfill.
