Redland has introduced a new sanded roof tile to its Fenland Pantile range of modern interlocking concrete tiles.
Antique is a sanded roof tile, with a rich dark brown colour and distinctive heritage look. This is achieved through coating the top surface and leading edge of the tile with a clear acrylic coating and fine granules during the manufacturing process.
Aimed at the private refurbishment, maintenance and home improvement market, it is the first colour in the Fenland Pantile range to feature a sanded finish.
Redland is also manufacturing Half and Third Round fittings for ridges, mono ridges and hips along with a ThruVent and Ridge Vent to accompany the new tile.
The Fenland Pantile range combines the classic single pantile shape with a modern interlocking concrete format to provide a robust and weather tight roof tile. It has been developed as a successor to the single clay pantiles that characterise the south-west and eastern parts of England.
