Wienerberger has launched a new RIBA approved CPD presentation highlighting the significant benefits of using brick.
Brick Design and Innovation looks at the history of brick and key considerations to be taken into account when designing and creating innovative and inspirational buildings.
The topics covered in the presentation explore a wide range of options from colours, sizes and textures; bond patterns; mortar joint profiles and product orientation.
The presentation will also explore how special shaped bricks and contemporary construction methods can be utilised to achieve the best results.
Richard Brown, Category Marketing Manager for Wall, commented: “We are extremely excited to be launching this new RIBA approved CPD. Brick is really in vogue with Architects at the moment and this presentation shows some great examples of what can be achieved with a bit of imagination.
At Wienerberger we are committed to providing training and education for our customers and the wider construction industry and this new CPD is a good example of that. It is the first of a number of new CPDs we are currently developing and we look forward to announcing more in the coming weeks”
