Cornerless glazing from Imago

Cornerless glazing recommended for contemporary housebuilders

  • 14 Dec 2015

AGB Hardware has reported an increase in interest in its cornerless glazing option, which has been designed for use with its Imago Lift & Slide door

Cornerless glazing permits architects, self-builders and developers to cut necessary corners without compromising on quality. It allows for the extension of panoramic glazing elements, which can create a fixed corner of glass that enables housebuilders to increase the view from a property.

As uninterrupted views are popular amongst current homeowners, AGB Hardware’s Imago Lift & Slide concept has been developed to offer the widest possible border between exterior and interior.

The Imago Lift & Slide mechanism allows the hardware to disappear into the frame, which is hidden within the plaster line. This provides a means of reducing ‘cold bridging’ for improved insulation.

A range of high security locking systems can be specified to provide protection where the frames meet, ensuring compliance with the legal requirements in security under Document Q.

By using Imago, project developers and self-builders can reduce glazing costs by up to 40%.
