VPS promote site safety through #PROSPA CCTV campaign

  • 15 Dec 2015

VPS Site Security has launched the #PROSPA CCTV campaign to help the construction sector cut the cost of days lost through accidents.

In a single day, an average of 300 injuries are reported on construction sites in the UK. In total, there are 65,000 reported accidents per year in the industry, costing over half-a-billion pounds (according to the HSE October 2015 report).

The majority of these accidents occur due to safety neglect.

Promote safety, prevent accidents

VPS Site Security supports the construction sector by providing security services such as its CCTV systems.

It is adding the #PROSPA – promote safety, prevent accidents – to a recent campaign launched to highlight its JCB Smart Towers, which not only provide comprehensive 24/7 CCTV safety audits, but also act as a safety check reminder for construction workers to ensure they are not neglecting site safety regulations.

The CCTV security cameras act as motivation for keeping safe and helping sites reduce the cost of injuries and days lost, in addition to keeping them secure at night and at weekends.

VPS Site Security was the only specialist CCTV provider in the UK to be a finalist in both the British Construction Industry and the Security Excellence Awards 2015.
