Triton System has launched Ground Gas Barriers, a dedicated website for its new range of ground gas protection systems.
The website has been developed to help construction workers to meet a number of guidelines, which have been established in the Code of Practice BS 8485: 2015.
The Code outlines a number of techniques, which can prevent carbon dioxide and methane from entering into new buildings. It has been expanded and revised to reflect recent changes in good practice.
Triton’s new site, Ground Gas Barriers, introduces its gas protection products; it also includes liquid applied and sheet membrane systems.
Triton TGS-GM500, for instance, is a sheet membrane designed to prohibit the ingress of carbon dioxide, methane and radon. Meanwhile, TGS-HCM1000 has been developed to provide a barrier against hydrocardon gas.
Triton has also developed a self-adhesive membrane: TWS-EX100GM offers protection against ground gas, as well as water and water vapour. It has been designed to protect against methane and radon, whilst simultaneously fulfilling the requirements of Type A waterproofing.
As a liquid applied system, TT Vapour Membrane is available for application as a waterproof and gas-proof membrane to concrete, masonry and brick substrates. It can also be used as an alternative to sheet membranes in new construction.
The complete collection can be viewed online.
