Wood effect vinyl flooring selected for school hall refurbishment

  • 6 Jan 2016

A wood effect vinyl flooring from Polyflor’s Expona Flow range has been specified for use in the refurbishment of a multifunctional hall at Surrey’s Reigate Grammar School.

Brampton Flooring was contracted to install 400 square metres of Expona Flow sheet vinyl flooring in the school hall, which is used for assemblies, meetings and school functions on a daily basis.

The flooring was specified in Polyflor’s Blond Oak wood effect style, which has been designed to replicate the look of natural timber planks.

The flooring has been developed for use in heavy commercial environments, making it particularly suitable for installation the education sector.

It is enhanced with PUR, Polyflor’s cross linked and UV cured polyurethane reinforcement, which provides cleaning and maintenance benefits.

Expona Flow also boasts impressive credentials: it has achieved a BRE A+ rating in major use areas and Indoor Air Comfort Gold, which offers assurance that VOC emissions are below the globally determined levels.

Manufactured in Britain, the vinyl flooring range features 50 designs: its Wood, Cosmos and Concrete collections offer a series of abstract and natural effects. Free samples can be ordered via the company’s website.
