Health & Safety – reducing dangers in the construction industry

The building industry is still one of the most dangerous workplaces. 

Peter Baker, the HSE’s chief inspector of construction said that it is a misconception that health issues cannot be controlled – it is simply not true.

Here is news of two events that focus on how we can eradicate work health risks and save lives.

Firstly, industry leaders are coming together at new summit “Committing Construction to a Healthier Future” being held tomorrow to address construction’s poor record on reducing workplace health risks – link to more details.

And Buildingtalk is supporting The Health & Safety Event that returns to Birmingham NEC on 22nd to 24th March 2016
