Schlüter has launched a new ‘intelligent lighting’ concept which has been developed to combine lighting and profiles within tile and stone coverings.
Schlüter-LIPROTEC offers a choice of indirect or direct light, available with Schlüter profile technology to allow specifiers and designers to emphasise curtain walls and illuminate stairways, foyers and bathrooms with an innovative and unique appearance.
Intelligent receivers control the LED strips with power supply units which convert the mains voltage to the 24 V required. The control system allows for up to 16 million pre-programmed colour changes to suit any particular ambiance or mood.
Suitable for moisture-rich rooms, such as bathrooms, the LED strips are completely covered and conform to IP65, allowing them almost limitless applications.
