Crown Paints has launched its Colour Influences programme for 2016. The programme forecasts the shades and styles that will shape professional interior and exterior environments in spring and summer 2016.
Crown Paints’ team of colour specialists have created three palettes for specifiers; ‘Sun-Drenched City,’ ‘Light and Shade’ and ‘Shimmer’.
The colours are available within the company’s Crown Trade, Sadolin and Sandtex Trade brands and can be viewed in the Crown Paints’ Spring/Summer 2016 trends brochure.
Jemma Saunders, a member of the Colour Influences panel, described the three new palettes. She commented:
“The first palette, Sun-Drenched City, brings to life yellow hues, accented with pink and greens. Texture and strength is achieved with flashes of metallic copper, concrete grey and charcoal to give the palette structure.
The next, Light and Shade, features a distinctly architectural edge and is defined by light and dark shades, which form an oppositional palette of rich browns and chalky tones.
Finally, Shimmer reinterprets how we use pastels by exploring the relationship between light, colour and texture, featuring hard and soft colours mixed with opaque and transparent surfaces.”
Jemma Saunders is just one of Crown Paints’ Specification Services team, a service which includes bespoke colour cards, expert advice and face-to-face consultations.
