Stannah upgrade Stairiser platform lift range

  • 17 Feb 2016

Stannah has updated its Stairiser CR platform lift with a new compact drive motor. The new motor allows the lift to fit into tight spaces, improving access for wheelchair users whilst keeping the stairway free for regular use.

In addition to the new motor, the Stairiser ‘curved rail’ model is also more energy efficient. The unit now uses a single-phase power supply instead of the previous three-phase, and contains a new digital diagnostic display to show running times and identify problems.

The updated Stairiser CR also features an improved speed of up to 0.15m/s, as well as radio controlled hall calls as standard.

Stairiser platform lifts

Stannah’s Stairiser platform lifts are ideal access solutions for building’s which cannot accommodate vertical lifts.

Both models are fully automatic and easy to operate and can be installed either internally or externally.

The Stairiser SR and CR units are available with different mounting configurations for different applications depending on load requirements and building types. The platform lifts come in a wide range of sizes and finishes and meet all statutory guidance including the Equality Act 2010.
