Howard Chapman, Buildingtalk Editor, takes a closer look at the new Evoke coping range from Marley Alutec being previewed at Ecobuild prior to its launch in May.
Yesterday I was at Ecobuild and invited to preview the new Evoke coping range from aluminium rainwater and eaves system manufacturer Marley Alutec.
This new highly sustainable coping system will be launched shortly, offering a fully weathertight life expectancy of 50 years or more, and offer a unique superior butyl adhesive seal, which outlasts the EPDM compression seals normally used in coping systems. This will ensure the installation remains 100 per cent weathertight throughout its extended life.
Tested by the Building Research Establishment (BRE), the new system is able to withstand hurricane force winds of up to 176mph, which is 24 per cent higher than the highest ever recorded UK wind speed.
The Evoke coping range will be launched in May. For more information about aluminium roofline products, visit www.marleyalutec.co.uk
