Electric Radiators Direct has launched a new electric radiator range which uses motion sensor technology to learn the habits of building occupants to control heating and conserve energy.

The Haverland Smartwave uses a built-in infrared sensor to register and record the activity of building occupants, learning when it needs to be heating the property and when it doesn’t.

The SmartWave monitors movements and adjusts itself according to the users routine. The radiator will start heating the property 30 minutes before occupants are scheduled to arrive and also switches itself off when the property is empty.

WiFi controlled

Smartwave is available with the optional addition of the SmartBox; enabling full heating control throughout the property through a free, user-friendly app from anywhere in the world.

SmartWave electric radiatorThe Smartwave also features a high precision thermostat which accurately keeps the room at the correct temperature without wasting energy and as a result, saves money.

Paul Walker, founder of Electric Radiators Direct commented: The SmartWave is a product that we are all very excited about –  It’s exclusive to us and cannot be found anywhere else in the UK.

The total control and advanced technology the range offers makes it an ideal heating solution for a vast and varied audience including home owners, landlords and businesses, we’re happy to finally get it to market!”
