The Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) has appointed two new Membership Services Officers to its London headquarters in an effort to provide additional support and services to its members.
As a Membership Services Officer, Harry Evans will focus on the Guild’s extensive education portfolio and support the Institute of Architectural Ironmongers (IAI) branch meetings and administration.
Davina King will be responsible for the management of the GAI and IAI’s subscriptions and membership database and the issuing of membership certificates. She will also oversee the distribution of the GAI’s quarterly magazine, the AIJ, and will be involved in the Institute’s financial matters.
The GAI’s chief executive, Gary Amer, commented: “Our commitment is to provide members in the UK and across the world with a highly rated education programme, technical advice and support, publications and networking opportunities.
It is great to have Harry and Davina’s additional expertise and energy within the Guild, and I’m sure members will be pleased to meet them at our events throughout the year.”
The Guild of Architectural Ironmongers is the only UK trade body solely dedicated to promoting the interests of the whole architectural ironmongery industry, including architectural ironmongers and the manufactures and wholesales of door hardware products.
