Derbyshire Floorcraft Ltd has installed heavy commercial PUR sheet vinyl flooring from Polyflor in the School of Life Sciences building at the University of Nottingham.
The flooring contractor specified approximately 300m2 of Expona Flow vinyl flooring in the building’s vending machine lounge to create a relaxing break-out area for student to relax in.
An abstract “Firelight” design was chosen from the Infinity collection within the Expona Flow product range by Petric Contracts, the project’s main contractor.
Polyflor describe the design as an “effect of endless wood, featuring contrasting warm orange and cool blue tones in a linear design.”
The Expona Flow collection features a total of 50 wood, stone and abstract designs, available in a 2 metre sheet format and 2mm gauge. The flooring is enhanced with PUR, Polyflor’s exclusive polyurethane reinforcement which is cross linked and UV cured for a polish-free maintenance regime.
Furthermore, Expona Flow achieves a BRE A+ waiting for the education sector and Indoor Air Comfort Gold, which assures that VOC emissions are below any globally determined levels.
It is also entirely recyclable through the Recofloor recycling scheme.
