Saracen Interiors has started working on the refurbishment of five-bedroom property in Surrey’s Guildford, which is worth around £2 million.
The residential project, which started in March, will take around six months to complete. Despite being best known for its office designs, Saracen agreed to take on the project on behalf of a client, who was keen to reconfigure and extend his home.
The company will redecorate throughout the property, after undertaking all design work, structural repairs and electric work. The property requires a new kitchen, roof and flooring, including underfloor heating.
In addition to extending the back of the property, Saracen will also remove several walls to create an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining space.
Transitioning into the residential market
The company hopes this latest project will enhance its presence in the residential market. Over the past decade, Saracen’s status has developed from a South East fit out concern, to a national full service enterprise.
Saracen offers a comprehensive service through its four divisions: Interiors, Small Works, Facilities Management and Office Moves. Its investment in local apprentices, training initiatives and innovations, such as BIM, has attracted prestigious clients, including Coca Cola, Toshiba and Pizza Hut.
