Café Football finished with PPX external render system

  • 4 May 2016

Café Football, a 140-seat restaurant which forms part of the GG Hospitality venture led by former Manchester United teammates Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville, has specified an external render system designed by Armourcoat

Designed by architects Checkland Kindleysides, Café Football is based in Westfield Stratford City. The restaurant aims to bring an authentic football culture to the dinner table, with football themes running throughout the menu and décor.

Armourcoat’s PPX (Polished Plaster eXternal) render system has been used on the full width external façade.

The polymer-modified limestone render incorporates the distinctive Café Football branding with an urban concrete effect, achieved through additional layering techniques. In addition, the al-fresco dining space is marked out with large branded planters in the same finish.

Armourcoat PPX

Suitable for both new build and renovation projects, Armourcoat PPX is a polymer-modified limestone render system designed to produce a low maintenance, durable and weatherproof coating for building exteriors or areas prone to moisture.

Armourcoat offers a complete PPX External Wall Insulation system to provide high performing thermal insulation tested to stringent ETAG (European Technical Approval Guidelines) standards.
