Exova BM TRADA will hold a five-day training course on softwood visual strength grading at the end of June.
The course is aimed at those who are involved in the specification and supply of softwood in the workplace and will offer a mix of both practical and theory sessions.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
Exova BM TRADA will also hold a two-day refresher course geared towards those whose Visual Strength Grading Q-Mark Scheme registration as lapsed for 2 years or longer.
The courses will be delivered by Exova BM TRADA’s timber technology investigations team lead Phil O’Leary.
Phil has an extensive knowledge of timber failure, inspection and strength, and is responsible for Exova BM TRADA’s timber strength, scaffold boards and roofing battens training.
