FAKRO has opened its International Design Competition up to architectural students for the first time.

The ‘Space for New Visions’ competition challenges architects to produce a concept for the renovation of a public building, while students are tasked with designing a residential project.

All entries must demonstrate an innovative use of FAKRO products, with evidence of design practicality, energy efficiency and sustainability.

The winning architect will be awarded €5,000, whilst the runner up will receive €3,000 and the third placed entrant will get €2,000.

The best two student projects will receive an AutoCad Revit licence and a visit to FAKRO Poland.
