Affinity255 vinyl tiles create bold design at Nottingham Girls’ High School

  • 7 Jun 2016

Contrasting Champagne Oak and Jet Black Ash wood effect designs from the Affinity255 luxury vinyl tile collection have been used for a refurbished common room area at Nottingham Girls’ High School.

The Affinity255 vinyl tiles were installed by local flooring contractors Slack & Co Floorcoverings. The Jet Black Ash finish was used to create a large square in the centre of the floor to contrast against the common room’s white furniture.

Available in 16 contemporary and traditional wood effect designs in a single wide plank format, the Affinity255 collection has been developed for busy areas, such as education environments, where a high level of foot traffic is expected.

The luxury vinyl tiles have a 2mm gauge, meaning they can be easily installed alongside other 2mm gauge flooring products. The collection also includes a cross linked and UV cured polyurethane reinforcement (PUR) that protects the floor and allows for easy maintenance.

The range achieves an A+ BRE rating in major use areas and Indoor Air Comfort Gold, assuring that VOC emissions are below any globally determined levels.

The tiles are also 100% recyclable through the Recofloor vinyl take back scheme and contain an average of 40% recycled content.
